Na Aisling Gaels Gaelic Football Club was officially formed on December 8th, 2008. All of the players of the Aisling's were previously known as the Lady McBride's, who had won Chicago and North American Championships in the 2008 season. The Lady McBride's decided to separate from their previous club of John McBride's G.F.C so that they could focus more on funding and supporting the ladies team, hence, Na Aisling Gaels was formed. The name translates to "The Irish Dreams". The Aislings are based on the North side of Chicago in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. The club is always looking for retired, new, or sanctioned players for the summer seasons.
